Alice Liu

Alice graduated from Southwest Forestry University in Kunming, Yunnan, in 2012, majoring in Wildlife Conservation. She has been birdwatching since 2008 and has accumulated nearly two decades of field experience across China.
Early in her career, Alice spent six years working at national nature reserves, where she conducted bird and mammal surveys and contributed to wildlife conservation projects. Since then, she has continued to work as a freelance bird observer, participating in biodiversity surveys across Hainan, Guizhou, Hubei, Guangxi, and Yunnan.
Based in Yunnan since 2018, Alice has developed extensive knowledge of the region's diverse habitats and wildlife. She has led numerous birdwatching tours throughout Yunnan and Sichuan, two of China's richest areas for endemic and special birds.
With her strong field skills, local knowledge, and friendly personality, Alice enjoys helping guests discover China's unique birds and wildlife while sharing her passion for conservation and nature.
