Birding in Shenyang City

Located in the central part of Liaoning Province in northeast China, Shenyang was first established about 300BC. With a total population of 7.2 million, Shenyang is the capital and largest city of Liaoning Province and also serves as an important industrial base in northeast China. The western parts of the city are located on the alluvial plain of the Liao River, while the eastern part consists of the hinterlands of the Changbai Mountains, and is covered with forests.

Shenyang’s climate is a monsoon-influenced humid continental climate featuring distinct four seasons with hot, humid summers due to the monsoon and dry, cold winters due to the Siberian anticyclone. Shenyang has abundant tour resources.
